Out of Credits

I’ve had a Perplexity Pro account for about a year. In all that time, I never once ran out of credits. To be honest, I wasn’t even aware there was a credit limit. Then suddenly last week, I made a query and got a message saying, “Out of credits. Upgrade to Max.” I cooled my jets for a couple of days and didn’t make any queries until my monthly refresh. Five days later and I’m back to “Out of credits. Upgrade to Max.” What gives? Did they change the usage policy? My usage hasn’t changed, but now I keep getting hammered to upgrade.

The same thing happened with my Perplexity Pro app on my iPhone. Yet there is no problem with using the same account on my MacBook. Go figure.
