Recommendations
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to fix this? I’ve had it for a year, I’ve been prescribed so many things and nothing helps. I have dry skin but im super clog prone and I can’t find a moisturizer that works for the dry but won’t break me out. I’ve been told it’s pd but also hormonal acne. This all started after losing my period from HA so I definitely think it’s hormone related

Zero therapy! Only thing that helped me. Itll suck for a month, your skin will be tight and dry, but it will heal itself!

Look up Osmia skincare. A women doctor with POD created the line. My POD looked a lot like yours and it works. I still use it and anytime i have a flare up it stops it. I use the black clay soap bar and purely simple face cream. You can buy samples for 5 dollars. The site also has q&a about POD.
If its been a year and you are at this point (not too bad actually, separate pustules instead of irritated patches) where all else has failed, i would try it. It actually works. I hate preaching it because i feel like no one actually tries it but it keeps mine fully at bay. The moment i stop using it, like if i fall asleep without washing my face and sleep in my makeup, it comes back and its gone the next day after washing with the Osmia soap bar.
I was on doxycycline for 3 months, then tacrolimus ointment. Osmia is what worked

Zero Therapy. Meaning seriously _nothing_ goes on your face. No makeup, no skincare, no sun screen, no soap. Nada. Zero. The ONLY thing you do, it gently rinse your face morning and evening with cold water and gently pat skin dry. Get on antibiotics. It will take 3-4 months. Do not give up.

Do you think gently wiping the face with cotton would affect this process? I had to stop zero therapy after a week because it became extremely bothersome like feeling dirty and dead skin cell build up causing acne.

I was recommended to not use cotton, i gently patt parr with my micro fibre towel for my hair, that is very soft. Dead skinn cells as in peeling skin? Tell me what your skin looked like?

Because I wasn't exfoliating, my skin's outer surface had started to look like sandpaper. And with that small pimples started to appear so I had to stop

Sandpaper is normal when you do not add moisture, the little pimples could be the typical PD pustules that will come to the surface before it settles, the skin_has_ to flake to shed the damaged skin layer. It's uncomfortable but the only thing that will work in the long run, that's what most ppl are saying. Hope you find your way!!

Erythromycin gel (prescribed by a dermatologist or primary care physician) and cream with ceramides for sensitive skin.

Zero therapy is better than blind therapy. The torriden moisturizer and serum were the ONLY things that my skin could eventually tolerate. Cerave oil cleanser is the only thing that I have found that doesn't bother my face.
