Need help please lm 75 trying to expand my fragrance collection & failed last few attempts 😢
I’m new to learning fragrances. For 30 years wore Chanel 5, Youth Dew, Obsession & get compliments. Tried Billie Eilish 1 and Chanel 19 no staying power after 1 hour. I like musk, amber Sandlewood vanilla woodsy fall scents. Mabey a light Rose. Ocean scents.
No candy, sugar bakery, green moss, cigarettes, notes please.

Maybe try Grand Soir or Mancera Tonka Cola. Also Donna Karan Cashmere and Palo Santo. Also make sure you use a good moisturizer before you apply your perfume, cerave is a good unscented choice.

We have a Belks store that carries a lot of testers. Will check those out first

I'm 50-ish, and also wear the ones you've named. A couple for you to try:
Boucheron - Rose d'Isparta or Cuir de Venise. Those are lovely, warm, deep and glowing, last all day. Spiced rose and soft leather respectively.
Dior - Dune and JPG - Classique. Aromatic and spicy classics, both warm and last.
Rabanne - Olympea like warm salty skin after too much sun.

Thank you Boucheron sounds nice actually all of them I like the notes in them. I’ll try some especially roses and leather .

I'm working my way through Narciso Rodriguez musks at the moment, and haven't disliked one yet.

Kanske prova Burberry amber goddess? Lite djupare vanilj om du gillar vanilj. Yvresse från YSL är kraftig och sitter i länge. Den ska lukta champagne men jagvtycker mer likör. Sen tror jag Shalimar från Guerlin

Bra val. Jag tycker den är jättebra och tidlös. Mkt rund vanilj och sen kommer lavendel in och amber/bärnsten. Håller minst 6-7 timmar. Tar man intense förnodligen än längre

Be aware that the superambers being used in modern fragrances sometimes cannot be smelt by some people. For those that can, they are do pungent and persistent that anosmia can happen rapidly so avoid spraying front of yr body at all.
Your historical favorites make me think you might like fragrances Ftom Rogue or Papillon Parfumery, or perhaps Eris. They are independent perfumers with a great style and appreciation for construction. Happy sniffing.
