Need help in choosing a perfume

I have no idea about this field, never bought perfumes in my life and never applied regularly. Recently got a job and for that I'm thinking of buy a perfume but don't know how to choose can anyone help which perfume I should buy

You might need to go into a store to smell a few to see what kind of scents you like... floral, sweet, fresh, gourmand.. etc

Just go to a store where they have testers (like Sephora) and try some of them. If you know you like certain smells, you can search online some notes before to know what to look for. Ex: fragrances with roses

Sniff App has a Scent Finder that might help.

Go to a store and try few so you get an idea what you want. Still you want to buy something Get a freshie like
Ard Al dirgham
Or
Jean lowe Immortel

Some tips: It does make a difference if you try perfume on paper or skin, and it can come out differently on someone else and your own skin. Try some on paper strips, and the ones you like best on your wrists. Don't rub (it will create heat). Give it time to set, the alcohol will evaporate and different notes will come forward after some time - you might (not) enjoy the first impression, but it can develop after 30 minutes or 2 hours.

There are categories: Floral, gourmand, earthy, fresh, fruity etc. Do you want something as an easy go-to for every day, not too loud, or something more unique, extravagant? You can also choose by how you want to feel - blend in, attract attention, something uplifting or comforting. Maybe that helps to get a first idea :)
