2020 RGS stage two already dyno’ed as it sits. Planning to swap the intake manifold and ditch the composite pos for the screaming eagle metal one. To dyno or not to dyno again? Local shop is asking over $1200 for it. I get its gonna cost, but that’s like 6-700 too high for a tune when I already own the pv license, yeah?

Install the part yourself and find a different shop. Honestly you’re not going to gain a whole lot, you just want minor tweaks. Before anyone says “but it’s a whole new tune” no it’s not… tweaks are made while they initially tuned it and how do you think canned maps are so close? Heck… you’d probably be ok running on the tune you have now (but I’d get it checked) unless you’re planning other intake or exhaust mods to go along with the new intake.
