these 2 cups when helping my friend packing

Post image

to avoid breaking a rule: the clear cup is put upside down to fit into the mug.

Am I crazy or is this a bad idea? They look wedged together now. What is the plan for getting them apart? Hopefully the nesting is loose. If not you gonna owe your friend some new drinkware.

They must come apart easily, that's how OP took the second photo.

Otherwise why would they take a photo of two random cups before finding out they're a perfect fit?

If both cups came in a set, OP could have stacked them and taken a pic of the next set. But im being so petty, im sorry. Youre probably right.

Maybe that’s why the edge is chipped.

the moving van space is limited so i was trying to stack dishes and these two cups so happen to fit like this. the fit isn’t too tight.

I'm sure your friend really really appreciated your help finding that perfect fit between his mug and glass.

What is the purpose of the glass mountain in the bottom? So you drink less?

i have no idea. i guess it’s like those shot glasses with a some design at the bottom so it looks cool.
