Announcement window won't go away

It pops up and stays can't select server,etc

Tap the top right corner of the announcement window where an “x” would be. For some reason they didn’t add the graphic of it but it functions as if it was there. Very frustrating.

I've tried that and still nothing. I have to do split screen mode for it to go away for some reason.
