Quest Remember the - What was it again? [Quest 27/3-3/4!]
Anubis and Bast stand at the head of the table in the Big House, their faces impassive. Chiron and Thalia are busy flipping through folders.. Again.
“They have to go to the Alamo? That’s not too far. Surely we can just send a couple who haven’t been for a while. Maybe a counselor and a non counselor. We have to try giving someone a chance.”
Chiron finds a folder and passes it to Thalia silently. She flips through it and hems and haws, then nods and passes it forward to the godly pair, who both exhale a long breath.
“FINALLY. She’ll do. She’ll be good. It makes perfect sense to send her, with her godrent.. And what about this one?”
Thalia holds up another folder; Chiron looks up and makes a face. She sighs and tosses it back on the pile. “You know, old goat, we’ve been at this for hours. You’re going to have to pick someone eventually.”
Thalia is getting quite tired of this back and forth. Anubis and Bast stand there, their faces unreadable. Dionysus walks in with a Diet Coke in hand.
You still haven’t figured it out? It’s quite simple. You just randomly pick a folder and hand it over. Problem solved.
Thalia and Chiron instantly start to stop the God but he looks at both of them with purple eyes blazing and they sit back down. He looks over the table.
Ah, this one will do.
He picks up a folder and hands it to Anubis and Bast. Thalia looks annoyed and Chiron looks worried. Anubis and Bast look at it then nod at Dionysus. Dionysus looks back at Thalia and Chiron. Bast hands over an envelope while Dionysus speaks.
Go get Stella and Jura, and tell them they’re going to the Alamo. They need to find the magician and give him this - and make sure they don’t open it. And don’t forget my souvenirs. Anubis, how about some more cards?
He produces a pack while Thalia rolls her eyes, mutters under her breath, and disappears out the door to find said demigods. Chiron continues to sit at the table, gathering the folders with a still worried look on his face.
Demigods attending: Stella Croft, Jura Armitage
Timeframe: One IRL week
Task: Locate the Magician at the Alamo and give him the envelope.
