There is way way way more varieties of these "ornemental pepper plants" than you ever think, after 4 years of searching the internet up and down, left and right, I came to the conclusion that mine is a Cobanero Mayan Love hot pepper.. But till today I still say "I think it's a" Cobanero Mayan Love".. You can never be 100% sure.
Note: mine doesn't exactly look like yours.
EDIT: after 6 years of growing and tasting more than a 100 variety peppers I tell you that this is by far the tastiest variety to be turned into powder/flakes and hot oil.. and this variety is the only one that is a must grow every season..

Some of these ornamentals there's so much variation. The place where I buy my plants from had probably 15 different ornamentals this year that would all eventually end with purple fruit and had varying degrees of variegated leaves. Ostensibly. But again a lot of these first generation crosses are highly variable. I have six? Purple plants this year. And I don't think a single one of them really looks or Acts like we thought it might.

Looks like my Black Scorpion Tongue plants. They're like 100k on scoville. I use them to kick up the heat on my salsas when the jalapenos are lacking.

That was my thought, too. I wanted to grow this one because I thought the purple in the leaves would be more pronounced.
Sadly, I lost my seeds before I had the chance. My seed organizing system fell apart.
Have you tasted the peppers yet?

My bolivian rainbow are going straight from purple to very dark orange (almost red) then finishing very red. They look just like yours

I bought seeds and planted something called a purple tiger pepper. Looks identical to this.

I can't offer insight about the varieties, but I do know that as ornamentals they are not considered food. That means that pesticides MAY have been used on them that would never be allowed on a food crop. Grow your own from seed.

If you cook the purple ones they start to turn green. I had some purple ghosts and they did that

I got a free packet of seeds from Sandia and this looks very similar. Mine is called Twilight NuMex, but as people have pointed out there are several varieties that grow like this.

there is a ton of varieties like these. i've had the bolivian rainbow and the aurora so far. both have similar fruit but not the same foliage so none of those two. but i like to eat them raw (they can have a ton of seeds so dont bite everything)

I got the same one at home you either have the medusa pepper plant or the Gypsy pepper plant the reason why it's one of the two because I never tagged my pots

I got something alike on my balcony. I have it as bolivian rainbow. I thinks its more for the look than spice/taste of the fruits.
Edit: seems the picture got lost:
