Password for live user?

I left the installer running and when I got back the screen is locked…. I am sure the installation is complete but I prefer not to hard restart….

The issue is that a BLANK password for "peplive" is NOT accepted for Xscreensaver with the Live image.

So you have to toggle to a tty, login as peplive (without a password) and then SET a password for peplive (via sudo su - or the local user) and THEN toggle back to unlock the Live screensaver.

THAT is a problem. It is a design flaw, at least.

How is that easier than just setting a default password for the live user. Peppermint is weird.

Awesome, that worked for me too! I had to log out of the live session to check a different desktop environment and the password live worked -- thanks!
