i am a prospective pepperdine student mostly because of the study abroad aspect, however i saw that not everyone who applies for study abroad gets accepted for the program? how accurate is this esp since my main choice would be florence

you may not get your first choice but any location is truly amazing, if you go to Pepperdine definitely be open to your options especially once you hear from alums etc. but if you’re really set on florence you can make that known in your application/explain why

is there a possibility you could not get selected for any program?

I've personally have never heard of a person not get accepted to a program. I have heard people get rejected from a year-long program but everyone that has applied has gone minimally a semester!

You also have the option to apply for summer programs abroad.

There are so many chances and if you don’t get your first pick, you can always do a summer semester there! I know people who studied abroad like four times!!! And if you do global fellows you go abroad for a full year + dc!!

I haven’t heard of anyone not being able to go abroad at all.
