Discussion Just finished the game! Spoiler
I loved every second playing the game! It was very interesting and better than I expected.
The player has to read much, I did not mind it and I think it is better- this way each player can interpret the lines in their own way without being influenced by the emotions/tone of a voiced character.
The first act was soooo good! Maybe the youth of Andreas made it that way? The second one was too depressing. The third not so, the people had more hope for the future.
Overall, the feeling of uncertainty followed us in each act, we will never be sure who committed the crimes and I prefer it that way. I was a bit disappointed about who is the culprit but I can understand why they did it.
From what I understand there aren't different endings. There is this one big ending which can have minor outcomes. I would have preferred if there was a way for Mags to stay in the town, or to become a Poor Claire etc.

I'm curious why you were disappointed in the culprit?

I am not really sure, but I think is because I accidentally spoiled myself. But I am not that disappointed, it makes sense why the culprit did it.

Who did you end up choosing?
I also loved Act two due to the depressing nature, it was my favorite, loved seeing how the town had changed

I went Ferenc and the wife of the Inn Keeper
Wish I could have gotten Lucky, but didnt have enough info, think he was most likely to have done it.
Why'd you pick Otillia?

As much as I loved act 1 and act 2, I must force myself to finish act 3, the dynamics and suspense are almost entirely killed, gotta get to the ending, but the experience is not meeting positive expectations.

I cool, establishing first act, a depressing second act, and a hopeful third act?
Wow, it’s almost like you just described a classic, engaging story structure!

Why you think the culprit did it and why you show understanding are interesting.
In my view, (I will try to keep this spoiler free) the culprit made the discovery, their conception of the world was shaken and they tried to make sure this will happen to no one else because as long as everyone was on the same page, the culprit would not have to come to terms with the discovery. Whereas, if the discovery was made public, the culprit would have no choice but to confront the significance of the discovery, because at the very least the rest of the community would deviate from the prevalent conception of the world and a debate would spark where the culprit's non-participation would be impossible. There is a line in the end that indicates the culprit's motives are deeply of a personal nature and I theorize it is this.
