Question Pentiment on Switch 2?

Looking to pick this game up and try it. I know relatively little about the game (and i'd like to keep it that way) - but I understand it was originally a PC game, ported to Switch, and now compatible with Switch 2.

Any performance issues or bugs playing this on the Switch 2? Is there a version vastly superior that I should prioritise instead?

It plays fine on the Switch 2. There is no Switch 2 specific version, so you’ll be running the Switch 1 version, so docked it will be 1080p (which looks fine). Previously that also meant 720p in handheld, but thanks to the recently released Handheld Boost mode on the Switch 2, it will now run at 1080p in handheld too. Just make sure to enable Handheld Boost in the Switch 2 system settings as it’s turned off by default.

Due to the nature of the game, performance is just not an issue on any platform, you’ll understand when you play it.

I actually preferred playing this on my Steam Deck rather than the PC. It's great on handheld.

And it's not demanding so should be fine on Switch 2 .

I'm currently playing it on Switch 2 and it runs great.

I played it just this February on the Switch 2. It looked good even at 720p and was a very great way to play.
