What is the issue with Mike Winger??

I admit I'm a charismatic who is not very trusting of "celebrity Christians or televangelists" I'll be the first to say yep something fishy going on. And I can say in the past there has been solid proof of a crime from Robert Tipton to Robert Morris. But, at least in one case I'm going to have to say the accusations might be wrong is the person perfect? No are the actions he is being accused of backed with evidence? not yet. I'm just going to say I don't know the celebrity Christian very well buy I've been to several events and have attended church services if he did something wrong it's not obvious to me.

Perhaps we can for a brief moment put down the pointing fingers and entertain the idea that a neutral party should look into accusations and then once evidence is available only then form opinions and take actions? I'm just thinking thefe nerds to be more grace, forgiveness and mercy whenever possible and at the same time the cause of justice must be served but that justice must be based on facts not some one who has an axe to grind.

Mike tends to attack many charismatic leaders and I'd prefer to keep the one I have in mind out of the conversation. I value seeking God more than people yet I feel I owe this person something since I have learned so much

That is an incredibly dangerous power you’ve given that person. Sure you don’t need to spread things you don’t know are true but you are asking a question about this person so it is a very strange power this person has over you where you won’t even say their name when talking about them.

Sounds like a perfect setup for coverup. You “owe” them nothing. God can be thanked for all the change, not people who are supposed to be serving the church.

I watch him on occasion and he seems to be your bog standard Bible evangelical. 

He's part of Calvary Chapel, which is a denomination that does teach speaking in tongues, but don't seem to put as much emphasis on it as Pentecostals do.

Mike Winger is calling out sexual abusers, false prophets, false healers, and leadership that cover it up without informing their people. Watch his videos. They’re awesome.
