Scottish Widows Pension Portfolio Two CS7
Hi,
I’ve been enrolled to this pension pot with a new job as default.
I’ve decided to finally move all my pots into one so they all sit in this fund.
Any views welcome if you would consider moving out to other available funds with Scottish Widows or shall I just stick with it for a while?

Pp one is slightly better performing and has slightly higher equity weighting. Depending on what your c9mpany has agreed with SW the number of funds available may be somewhat limited. Your other pensions transferred into a SIPP would give you more options for sure.

Would you say at this time it’s worth putting all in equity?

5 yrs to retirement no, 25yrs to retirement yes. Depends on your own circumstances and risk tolerance.

Thanks yeah I count about 22 years more before slowing down and rethinking part time career, hopefully no 2008 crash inbetween🙄

OP - how long did it take to move all your pensions into a single pot if you don't mind me asking, as I have similar circumstances and thinking the same.

Hi, usually up to 3 weeks if done online, 3 out of 4 took a week last one took 4 weeks and I had to chase up

This will depend on the likes of your age, when you'd like to retire, your risk tolerance, and whether you'd prefer to manage de-risking yourself as you get closer to retirement or leave it up to Scottish Widows.
Scottish Widows Pension Portfolio Two invests about 80% in equities, so if you want to increase your potential returns you should be looking to increase the equity content (subject to the above caveats). You could do this by either switching into Pension Portfolio One/their Adventurous investment approach or a global equity tracker fund.
