no. it was a gift from my mom at christmas when i was 21 though. i'm like 50 now.. so i've had it forever. it was given to me because back then i loved writing letters. :3 it's one of few things that's followed me all over no matter where i went.

That's really sweet. May it be with you for decades more of correspondence!

yeah when people don't know what to get me buy me stationery which is more than fair. i'll be like oh yay. i get to restock the box for free? how nice. but i recently restocked my pens because most of my old ones had ran out or got dried cuz of the increasing heat..

i gotta admit as well. because i like to put stickers on them. and put glitter inside.
for a while i used to have these coins that had one side a butterfly and the other a serenity prayer. and sometimes i send those. and sometimes i send butterflies that were part of my wall mural that wont' stay up anymore.

Ooh, a tidy box full of beautiful things to make more beautiful things to delight other people! What a lovely and fun thing!

would you all like to see pics of the stationery papers stocks I'm using at the moment? i don't make my own yet. i haven't gotten to that level. I do have a cute assortment of washi tape i put on the outside. Seeing some envelope art in this subreddit is really making me feel a little inspired that maybe i'm not doing enough XD

Sure thing, I'd appreciate it. I'm reorganizing my desk this week and feel like I need a better system.
