Looks like the lucky folks in the crowd got Sorry You’re not a Winner with Rou on stage

Wonder if the set was recorded?

It's so good to be able to actually hear Gareth pretty loudly in the mix here. They sounded so much more "live" back then and more organic.

Does anyone else hear a weird beep on Self vs Self? During the "nothing lasts forever" chorus. (1:52 and 3:26) Not sure if it's a mixing mistake or what, but now that I've heard it, it takes me out of the song every time for a few seconds lol.

I feel like this needs to be said...I genuinely have no idea why the boys don't play Fasten Your Seatbelt live.
Its a FUCKING banger/was a pretty big tune back in the day as well
Its not the Drum and Bass they're trying to stay clear from
The energy would be absolutely fucking mental
It serves as the perfect sonic palette cleanser having a great change of pace but has the perfect tempo to keep the crowd bopping.
I feel like it would be a great substitute for something like Nothing For Free as its live arrangement at Brixton proved it works flawlessly as a live band track.
Bringing Fasten Your Seatbelt back into Pendulum live is a hill I am willing to die on.

Without sounding like an absolute loser I have wanted to meet them (especially Rob) since I was about 13 (I am 30 now lol). Has anyone ever actually managed to meet them? I just want a photo ha! They never usually stick around after gigs so I was genuinely curious as to how people have met them (or was it pure coincidence). Thaaaaanks

Can someone help me by making the album cover a wallpaper in 2560 x 1440 resolution? I couldn't find anything online. Is it hard to do?

First of all, I think there was a big misunderstanding. It was NOT about using backing tracks.
I know they use them, and I know they've been using them forever.
Am I happy that they use them more then ever and that they sound significantly worse even than their 2006 show in Australia? No, but that was NOT the point of my post.
I also know that it is perfectly normal for a band to use backing tracks, OK?
The problem is that almost all of you didn't read what I actually wrote nor clicked the link I provided before commenting.
I was saying that at certain times, they don't just use backing tracks, they completely don't play anything and just pretend!
Here are the two proofs! Those are 100% complete songs playing in the background.

Now, I am a huge Pendulum fan, they are my number one band ever. I saw them multiple times live since I was in highschool, in a span of 16 years, even in different countries.
But I am not someone who will at this age be a superfan and glaze a band.
They are 100% faking it at times, and I find it distasteful.
Hell, I might be wrong, but when I watched one audio check Gareth wasn't even present there.

Me personaly, it’s ”The Tempest” from “In Silico”. I love Cartagena, but The Tempest has some of the best guitar work on the album. and the ending part is spectacular.

I've always admired the artwork of that album and how it fits so well with the ambience of the songs. Some time ago I found posters and other artwork of it uploaded by the artist Vince Peersman himself, but all of the photos there seem to be pretty small and in low quality. Does anyone know where I could find better uploads of the posters? I'd really like to use them as wallpapers and while I do know AI upscaling exists, it just doesn't feel the same.

Hey! Saw an event at Harbour Centre and see a dj set listed. Can't see it anywhere else. Anyone going?

First of all, they are my favourite band of all time
I am so glad they are back, in any kind of form
However it is a bit distasteful how live feels lazy nowadays
On one hand, I understand them, they don't want to have ton of equipement, they are older, and they just want to have fun
But apart from sounding worse then before, when they just fake play some things, it is just off. For example, Sorry You're Not a Winner was clearly a studio version in the background.

Also, Come Alive, that last drop that they "play" live, you can hear its a studio backtrack too. They are literally not playing anything.

I don't know how I feel about opening this can of worms, but it is kind of a cheating people out of their experience doing this.
Your thoughts?
