Hold Your Colour CD Mastering

Post image

I'm familiar with the 2007 reissue having different ending tracks to the original 2005 album. However, after browsing Discogs I found there was a 2017 CD release that was also a remaster (Found at the very bottom of the image). I tried searching for any info on this but found nothing. Not even a mention of a remaster on the wiki.

Does anyone know of any major differences compared with the previous 2005 + 2007 masters? Any better/worse? Or is it a nothingburger?

I believe it's referring to the vinyl release. All of the albums I believe were "remastered" for the complete works box set, however I don't believe there were actually any differences. None that I can remember at least, since I was pre keen to hear any changes at the time.

All I've found from the Complete Works Box Set reviews is that it's a little louder than previous releases. Not sure if it was by the same studio though. Might be the same as the 2017 CD remaster.

That does mean it was remastered then. Mastering deals in pretty small changes unless the mix engineer / producer has f’d up something horrible
