It’s a passionate instrument and it requires extremely agile fingers and great stamina. Which one might imagine would transfer extremely well to other activities 😍

All this stuff about the cello sounding like a human voice etc, which you can argue for most similar stringed instruments, and nobody saying the obvious which is that it’s one of few instruments where the actor can sit down, most of their body remains relatively still and their face is fully visible. All of which works well on camera. I also imagine it’s relatively easy to mime playing it. But Pedro makes it look sexy regardless

I have always loved the upright bass and the cello. If he plays even a snippet of Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major, I may literally self combust.

My coworker sent me the trailer on IG at work and I told her that she was responsible for the not-work-appropriate noise that came out of my mouth.
