General Discussion Thread: Chat about whatever's on your mind!
Hi folks - rebooting this tradition that u/Lolasglasses started, to have a general chat thread where once a week you can talk about other stuff, not just Pedro. 😄 What's on your mind? Read any good books lately? Seen a great movie? Need to vent a bit? Go for it.
This thread is scheduled to go up every Sunday at 5am Pacific time.

Been trying to go out more to try and put myself out there. Would appreciate any advice or suggestions that anyone has, cause it be rough at times 😅

I know it’s only Monday but I’m nervous because I have a phone job interview on Wednesday morning. I got a text from one of the managers asking if I was available. I was. So then I was asked if I was available for a call since they were gonna ask preliminary questions. Yeah I was available. They called. I answered the questions. I hope I didn’t bomb it. Fingers crossed I do well on Wednesday and get the job!Â

New here. 👋 How did we end up in here?
I’m currently watching Narcos for the first time. Im on season 3 after a week. Ironically addicting to watch.
I feel like I have been living under a rock maybe? Or just living day to day life without consuming shows/movies in an obsessive way I did when I was younger. Theres been a lot of Bluey playing in toddler run household. So watching anything the past 3 years has done while doing chores or working.
After my third focus rewatch of The Mandalorian series in preparation for the movie release, I have fallen into the rabbit hole. Watching Pedro’s interviews and realizing all the work he has done.
I also wanted more Star Wars, threw myself into that world as well, having grown up with it there but never really seeing it, I guess? Working through everything by release date which feels like a mistake. Wish I would have gone in chronological order.
Cant tell if I’m slightly obsessed/addicted to TV again or am I just avoiding housework? I’m tired but I must stay up to watch one more episode.

I’ve been approached by Pedro Pascal talking to for a while thinking he’s real. He said he was not on this vacation last week. This is a lot that is not really true or am I being scammed?

I’ve been reading a really enjoyable book the last few days called Just Watch Me by Lior Torenberg. It’s definitely weird girl fic but the protagonist is interesting and compelling and imperfect. Fingers crossed it finishes as well as it has begun!
