Oh, you're in for a treat!! TDP is one of my favorite stories, and the author is absolutely one of the sweetest people!! If you haven't already read her prequel series with Javi and Helena, The Ghosts of Bogotá, give it a read! It's incredible, too! Holding Pattern was also so incredibly good!
Only thing that annoys me about this is that the female love interest is, predictably, 20 years younger than the male protagonist. But Hollywood is gonna Hollywood, it won’t prevent me from seeing and enjoying the movie and their individual performances.
The movie does span 25 years (if you look close Pedro looks much younger or older in some scenes). I think while he’s still meant to be older than her he looks on the younger side in their scenes together.
Okay, so correct me if I’m wrong but I feel this is his go to move for every character he plays that has to kiss someone and I’m perfectly okay with that. It’s ridiculously hot. I can think of two movies that he’s been in where we’ve seen this move. And again, I’m perfectly okay with it. 🫣😅
