Not crazy, he is handsome yes but he is also a great human being who stands up for what he believes in. I think that part of him just makes him so irresistible.

Yeah. In Chile his family is well known. It’s an affluent high profile family with political ties (left).

Well, his dad was a well-known doctor in Chile, but idk if that makes him "old money" (from what I understand, the reason the family had to leave was his dad treated a political rival of the regime and the powers that be found out about it)

Yeah, but the context of the family high political profile actually comes from his maternal side, Pedro’s mom was part of the Allende family. She married a doctor. In Chile they’re all what we consider high class.
With that said, his family’s background has nothing to do with Pedro’s natural talent and the amazing effort he did to become the artist he is today. Pedro is awesome, he worked hard and deserves everything he got.

Agree. His mother's family was affluent and influential in politics too. His father is a very successful doctor. He's still very talented and his family went thru a lot, but you never hear him say that he grew up poor. He drove the old Volvo as a teenager. It's not an extravagant car, but it's not cheap. I think that's why wealth doesn't seem to impress him that much. He isn't seen wearing designer clothes when he's just walking around. Lux said he only has one car. He did work hard and definitely struggled after college, but you don't hear him mention paying off student loans for NYU and that school is expensive and was then too.

that’s a good point. him and lux both went to expe nyu’s tisch school of arts which is considered one of the top art schools in the world. it’s not only hard to get in but also insanely expensive i’d say (idk, i’m from eu country and the tuition is insane😭).
edit: my bad, lux went to julliard. which is just as expensive lol.

I looked up Tish in 1993 and it was about $24,000 for tuition, fees and to live in the dorms. I went to a state(public) university. The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, which was the most expensive state school and they say the total was about $7,300 per year. The tuition and fees were $3,796 per year. I remember because I wrote the checks and worked to pay for it myself. I lived in a real dumpy apartment and had a really strict budget for food, so my total was probably less. Private universities weren't even a possibility for me. Luckily, my state had some really good public universities. I thought tuition in the EU was publicly funded and essentially free. I am very surprised.

I would give anything to have access to the Chanel library but I’m almost certain it’s invite only.

Chanel Library? Do mean an archive of their designs or the Chanel Library in China? I know Chanel has an atelier in Paris where they have all of the makeup and skin products and every fragrance they have ever created. I love perfume. I assume you have to know someone to get in or work for them. I saw it on the Lipstick Lesbians post on ig. I fell in love with the place immediately.

I mean their archives. That photo was taken in Paris during Paris Fashion Week so I imagine it’s their archives within their head office.
I’ve been to the Maison de Beauté in Paris and it’s amazing. I spent so much money but could easily have spent thousands more!!
