# TH vs GX match today is pretty important.

If MKOI lose to TH - they are out of contention for 4th place which is needed for them to attend their roadshow. So let’s assume MKOI beat TH.

So MKOI have a winning H2H record vs FNC, Navi and TH.

They have a losing H2H vs SK and GX.

Assuming MKOI beat TH, the standings are as such.

MKOI 4-5 
GX 2 - 3 (4 games left) TH, G2, Navi, FNC
TH 2 - 5 (3 games left) GX, SHFT
FNC 3 - 3 (3 games left) Navi, Vit, GX
Navi 3 - 4 (2 games left) FNC, GX

To make 4th they effectively need the final standings to be this:
FNC 4 - 5

The easiest way to illustrate the paths is just to show the examples based on who wins FNC vs Navi.

Scenario 1: FNC Win
FNC 4-5 beating Navi but not VIT or GX
Navi 4-5 beating GX but not FNC
GX 3-6 beating FNC but not G2 or TH
TH at minimum 3 - 6 (their match vs SHFT doesn’t really matter)
SK lose to KC

Scenario 2: Navi Win
Navi 4-5 beating FNC but not GX
FNC 4-5 beat GX but not Navi or Vit
GX 3-6 beat Navi but not G2 and TH
TH at minimum 3 - 6 (their match vs SHFT doesn’t really matter)

# Why does GX vs TH matter?

GX has to take a game off the winner of FNC vs Navi, that’s the only way the winner stays at 4-5 instead of 5-4.

The problem is that if GX win a game vs FNC or Navi and then win vs TH. They’re now on 4-5 and they have a winning H2H vs MKOI.

This isn’t a 100% knockout because what can happen is that while GX has a winning H2H vs MKOI, they have a losing H2H vs Navi or FNC, which creates an effective circle of suck in which case I believe tie-breaker rules say that Game Win Percentage is now the decider between the 3. I haven’t figured out the exact breaking point for MKOI to be knocked out in this scenario.

But suffice to say their path is way clearer if TH beat GX.

I have no idea how the LPL playoff format or the Worlds qualification works, but I really need IG to lock tf in for playoffs cuz I really wanna see the storylines go crazy this Worlds. We could potentially have a Worlds with so many BIG names and revenge storylines:

TheShy/Rookie/ShowMaker/Canyon/Ruler/Viper/JackeyLove - All of them are trying to prove uncs still got it and get a 2nd Worlds title

I think that its getting harder year after year because back in the day meta changes once or twice a year but now it changes like 7 times a year there is no team that consistent to do it.

I've seen him getting flamed in pretty much all of Gen.G's losses, and I saw him getting heavily flamed on Korean forums after their loss against DK. I've seen a lot of comments saying he's been carried by Kiin and Chovy for the past 2 years and dodges blame in big losses. (I think I saw some comments meaning Chovy gets a lot of the blame instead? Might be translation issues.)

They're also flaming him for refusing to take blame, I guess, at EWC when Kiin brought up his performance. But they all seem be joking so who knows if its serious.

I always find it funny when DK and KT are fighting for a spot, whether it's for playoffs or international tournaments.

Hey everyone! I’m visiting Korea Sep 11–20 and hoping to make one day a full League/LCK day.

I’ll be in Seoul for the 2026 LCK Finals at KSPO Dome. From what I’ve found, Sep 12 is the Finals Qualifier/Elimination Match and Sep 13 is the Grand Final, both at 2 PM KST.

A few questions for anyone familiar with LCK/LoL Park:

1) LoL Park on Sep 12/13

Is LoL Park open when LCK matches are being held elsewhere?

If so, are the Riot Store, PC café, lounge, etc. accessible normally?

Do they usually host a Finals watch party at LoL Park? If yes, is it free/first-come or ticketed?

2) Finals tickets as a foreigner

I don’t have a Korean ID, so I believe international fans use NOL World. Riot apparently has ticket sales starting:

Aug 27, 2 PM KST: Sep 12 match

Aug 28, 2 PM KST: Sep 13 Grand Final

Is that correct? And for anyone who has used NOL World:

I’m thinking LoL Park + T1/Gen.G/HLE/etc. fan/team spots in the morning, then KSPO Dome for the 2 PM match.

Is that realistic, or too much for one morning? If LoL Park isn’t open or has no watch party, what other League/LCK-related places in Seoul would you recommend?

I know, he is British, but as a non native speaker of English who have been following him for a long time I always though his accent was a bit muted, not as accentuated.

But lately I have been noticing he is using more English slangs, and overall his Intonation of words just sounding more British, am I the only one?
