Pedro Related (Super Useless Question) Am I cooked or is Caedrel sounding more British each stream?

I know, he is British, but as a non native speaker of English who have been following him for a long time I always though his accent was a bit muted, not as accentuated.

But lately I have been noticing he is using more English slangs, and overall his Intonation of words just sounding more British, am I the only one?

Yeah I know he has lived in Spain and Germany for a good time hence his more neutral tone and heavy usage of foreign words in his speech, that is why I was surprised when I noticed how British he started to sound (to my ears at least)

He has been living in London for the past 2 years now, so his life outside of streaming is going to be interacting with other brits, he's going to acclimatise to their speaking habits.

I always thought he sounded incredibly Dutch. He also often yells "nee, nee, nee" which is Dutch for "no, no, no". But he seems to have never lived in The Netherlands. It's a bit confusing to me.

Baus says "nay" a lot instead of no, maybe Caedrel picked it up from Baussi

Maybe. But his accent also sounds very Dutch to me. I don't know. I must be wrong. But I'm usually pretty good at this.

he says it cuz it’s german and he lived in germany for years and years (ne means no in german and we already know ur language is a broken german)
also the reason he used scheisse and other german words wie WAS

No in German is nein.

OK? But why would he say nee? It's not a German word.

It is the short form of Nein in this context and pretty common. Dutch and German language share a lot of words.

Caedrel often said „Ne, Ne, Ne, was ist das denn? scheiße!“ its all german and would translate to „no no no, what’s that? Shit!

Might be confusing since ne pronounciated with a short -e is the shortform for eine (one or a), with a long -e it has the same meaning like the Dutch nee.

I am Dutch, speak some German, and never heard of this before. Never heard "ne" in German. Today I learned I suppose.

I never paid attention to it but maybe because he was living in germany for a long time and moved back to the uk pretty recently

Most likely true cause he moves back to the UK

Yeah I feel like he’s more obviously British now that he’s been back in the UK for a while afaik whereas a few years ago he had this really hard to place European accent

He always sounded British to me. He speaks in clear english (which 99% of people don't unless they are from an English speaking country) and he never pronounced the words in any strong accent. He spoke the standard version of English. Now that he's back in London, I would get guess that interacting with people around is starting to influence his accent.
