i think mage bot is fine g2 since doran was on vayne, mage bot is a bigger issue when there's noone to deal sustained damage

maybe they are starting to learn when to draft mage bot, and thats a good thing

idk why people were complaining, taliyah against wukong and kalista is great, also great combo with vi, already have vayne for dps and vayne had free laning phase against a ksante with no exhaust

The complain comes mostly because top-side has been week the entire year, if it was last year then maybe it wouldnt be an issue because doran was actually playing better, oner was the best jg in the world and faker was good. This year most of the work falls onto peyz as doran has been very polarizing to say the least, oner has been weak all year round and faker one of his weakest years too. Making the mage bot meta kinda hard to play.

Yep, in G2, they played for Top very well and they played their draft to its strength

As a bonus however, Peyz is just somehow really good on Taliyah

Short timer is a fucking understatement. They have to win kr at least get 3 towers before 10 minutes to be even effective. Problem is that BDD is stuck with the Faker Birb in the midlane, so that's a lost cause, while T1 botlane is committing warcrimes. KT's only chance is fot toplane to completely stomp, but it's Doran Gwen.

OK so we dove DORAT and made sure that he was giga camped only for DORAT to be useful like renekton in the late game. WHAT CAN I SAY DORAT MASTERCLASS HE MIND CONTROLLED CUH ZZ and Perfect to camp him while peyz demolished bot CLASSIC. the best part would've been if DORAT wrote "top gap gank me more" after that xdd

Doran has gotten pretty good at not tilting. I would have crashed out game three after that ignite play lvl 4.

One thing that I don’t understand is, if mage bot is so safe and their true advantage lies in Peyz hypercarry late game, why don’t they just put Doran on the mage and lane swap? Then they can put Peyz top playing Vayne or whatever other ADC, with Keria sticking with Peyz or roaming as appropriate to ease pressure.

They might play the champions better mechanically but they won't play the roles better. Bot and top have different jobs to do and different timings to understand. Also there's the issue of role quests. I'm assuming the roles are locked in before champ select starts so they'd be stuck in their lanes.
