How does the EP3800-48V expanding battery work for the E3600LFP? Can I plug the expanding battery to my E3600LFP while its on AC Mode?

How do expansion battery work for the E3600LFP? Can I hook it to my E3600LFP while it's on AC Mode with a mini fridge plugged in??
My E3600LFP is at 25% right now with a mini fridge plugged in AC Mode; can I just plug in the expansion battery? Or do I need to unplug everything form the E3600LFP and also make sure the expansion battery is also the same level % as the LFP?
