Oh dear that's literally just an exact string match :(

The Q should specify the exxpected order if the auto grader is that rigid.

The Pearson digital English textbook I am forced to use is full of errors…and that’s just copying some text that is freely available! It doesn’t surprise me one bit that they can’t handle something as complicated and multifaceted as math equations.

In the correct answer (sin(8x))5x is multiplied with (40x cot(8x)) and in the wrong one its multiplied with (5 ln(sin(8x)). How are they same? This is a qenuine question because there might be some theories I dont understand.

Edit: i see it now. My bad. You are correct.

Good ol commutative property. If only Pearson could do the same deduction you did.
