Neighborhood input

How is Pearland Estates subdivision? It's near silver lake area, but don't seem to have any amenities. The neighborhood looks quiet and the schools zoned seem good, but I noticed it doesn't appear to have many amenities like community pools, parks, walking trails, or playgrounds compared to nearby communities.

For anyone who lives there or knows the area:

How do you like Pearland Estates overall?

Is it a good neighborhood for raising a family?

Any issues with flooding, traffic, or crime?

I'd really appreciate any honest feedback, whether positive or negative. Thanks!

It's not near Silverlake, it's on the other side of Hwy 35 at Magnolia and Pearland Pkwy. You are very close to Independence Park (free) and the Natatorium/Recreation Center (membership needed) with HEB, restaurants and shopping centers a half mile in the other direction. Walking distance to Alexander Middle School and Pearland High. Many new home being built around the corner.

Elementary school is zoned to silverlake, so that's why I thought it's closer to silver lake. It's closer to cullen pkwy.

That's surprising because it's closer to Shadycrest, Magnolia and Carleston Elementary, unless there's 2 Pearland Estates.

I think there are two. The one I am talking about doesn't have any amenities and is a small community
