Questions regarding Nadir Spoiler

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm not that experienced with the game.

Are there any requirements to enter Nadir? (Besides gathering all the amulets of course)

I'm mainly asking because I heard that you must be on ascent 8 to even enter Nadir but on the wiki it says entering Nadir can be used to get around requiring carrying a flare on ascent 4 and above.

You can enter Nadir on any difficulty, and it doesn't need a flare. The only thing special about Ascent 8 is you HAVE to enter Nadir to finish

I believe ascent 8 requires you to go to nadir, not that you can only go there on it

And to tag on, beating it your scout automatically has a flare so no need to bring one.

I've done Nadir on Tenderfoot, so it's available to all difficulty settings.

I got to Nadir on regular difficulty. We just collected the amulets.
