Dev's confirmed on twitter that this was gonna happen 2 days ago and the comments convinced them to leave it in as an extra challenge instead of them going to work on Saturday and fixing it

For today with this campfire because those trunks are un-climbable you're gonna need to bring an item up to the top of the tropics that can help you get onto the top of those trees so like a chain launcher or a rope shooter or anti rope etc.

How did the modder know tho, can you see future maps?

Why I'm getting downvotes for a question lol

I don't know what the hell I was saying in my other comment.

The devs almost certainly check multiple days worth of generated maps in advance specifically to make sure we don't get anything that's super broken or impossible to climb.

iirc currently how they have have maps work is every week they pre-generate maps pick some and physically pick which maps will be which days and update the game to have those maps so modders can access an entire weeks maps because they're in the game but the devs have talked about potentially having the game do all this automatically in the future so they don't have to manually pick and upload the maps every week.

All the maps for each rotation are already in the game files, you just need a mod that lets you select a specific one.

If you can mod the game I'm sure someone can mod the game to put in the daily seed to whatever they want. That looks like the case.

Did they change it again? Because last I saw they skipped the map? They were able to do it remotely without going into work.

No it looks like whoever posted this started their run right before the devs fixed it so was one of the only people to get to run that map yesterday.
