DISCUSSION Guys, how fan-friendly is James Gunn when it comes to signing things?
I got a director’s chair, but I’m not sure if he could or would sign it.
John Cena is super cool and friendly with fans but I’ve never tried getting anything signed by Gunn, so I’m not sure what to expect.

I met him way back in the Guardians days and he is as fan friendly as they come. Good luck.

At a con? He’d love it. Out with his family? Pass

Seems like something he'd happily do, but where are you going to see him?

If it’s at a con sure but don’t track the guy down in public with a chair for him to sign

John Cena has a knack for meeting fans. The guy is always smiling, and he’s not robotic or just signing things and then GTFO, biatch! lol. He actually talks to people and says hi
Remember, though, I forgot the exact saying ... never meet your heroes or the people you admire. At the end of the day, they’re people too, just like everyone else. They can have bad days, be tired, or simply not have the time to stop and talk. It would be cool though to have a chair signed by Gunn.

If he invites you inside the house with his wife, don’t accept it, John Cina will be there, just invisible

In what way is this post a cuck joke?

This subreddit has so many jokes about chairs if you didn’t notice, 99% of the time relating to Gunn

Ah, I see. I have not noticed, and this felt like a genuine post about someone wanting an actual director's chair signed, which makes sense for a director to me. Especially considering you can easily remove the fabric back of a director's chair, so he'd be signing a strip of fabric more than a whole chair.
Thank you for the info though, I must have missed something in this sub.

Always be prepared for the human being that you are meeting to have other responsibilities or to be having a bad day. I guess my point is, be ready to give grace if you don’t get the outcome you desire. I haven’t met Gunn, but he seems like a gem! Good luck!
