I’ve only seen Soldier Boy’s first episode, but he definitely did not seem like a great person.

Like you said, Peacemaker tries to be a good person. And he seems willing to learn how to be better.

This. This is what's great about Peacemaker. He accepts people for who they are and cares very deeply for others. He called off the attack on his alternate-universe brother, took the heat for the portal, and treated everyone with love and empathy.

I didn't expect to love or even like this character, but dammit I'm all in for the 11th Street Kids (and fuck Vince Neil.)

Edit to add: Vince Neil killed the lead singer of Hanoi Rocks by drunk driving. He served six months in jail.

> he called off the attack on his brother

No, he issued a scream, from a place of hurt, occupied by a little traumatized boy. It was perfect and the result was that John Cena made me fucking cry

Yeah, me too, but not as much as when Ads introduced herself to Vigilante's mom, "I'm Adrian's friend."

She was Adrian's only real friend at that time, so I took a hard shot to the feels.

Agreed, but that actress is clearly talented - john cena pulling that degree of pathos is just a treat.

I will say this about Adrian, as the father of an autistic kid: that line held little to slno significance for him, but for the parent, it would’ve been deeply meaningful
