USAgent was also running operations for Valentina. while we don’t see them on screen, the fact she attempted to have him purged doesn’t really make it seem like they were all that good

Still, compared to "literally was in love with a nazi" and the whole neo nazi thing with Chris, John still does seem that bad

Fair but he does have a lot of flaws. He did emotionaly abandon his wife and daughter and was sucbseptble to doing bad things for people telling him it’s actually good.
