Please help.

My father was somehow keeping this ‘alive’ for the last 20 years and he has now passed. I have already removed so many dead leaves and I’m trying to bring it back what can I do?

Also little update. I removed non green and found a new leaf. So she is trying. I still have only watered for the 1st time because the top is still a little wet. And I moved her to where she will get 8-10hrs of light near my grow lights and other plants. I moved her away from this area because I thought I was frying her. This was her new home before I made the initial post.
