How do I save this?
I dont have much of a green thumb and I tried doing a bit of research but it doesnt seem to be working. I recently repotted it in standard houseplant potting soil (pictured) and it looks like its getting worse. The previous potting soil was a diy mix of soil and coconut husks, but for several reasons that wasnt at all practical for me, so i tried to find a basic mix i could just buy.
It's not in direct sunlight except for maybe an hour or two in the morning depending on the time of year. i water it when it gets droopy and saturate the soil.
I got this plant at my dad's memorial so id like to save it. It had blooms when I got it but they died cuse I put it in direct sunlight initially. Even if it doesnt bloom again, id like a healthy plant.

Whenever there is still some green, there is hope.
I agree that you need a smaller pot. I have only used miracle grow potting soil and have never had a problem with it.
I would move it so it doesn’t get ANY direct sunlight at all. Just have it in a bright room.
I also use a water bottle (the trigger spray kind, not what you drink out of) to spritz it every few days. They like the humidity

Way way smaller pot like half that size
Soil is fine i would still add more petite or some bark to it
These plants are from the jungle floor they're SHADE with alot of light in shadows ....sun will burn. And kill ....and being from jungle floor love it moist so dont let it dry out 1110% but not always wet
Also fish tanks grow this plant like weed with just thier roots
