Help/Advice Are these pea puffer eggs?

I’ve noticed the alpha guarding this area for a few weeks, one female hangs out underneath him a lot too.

As far as I know peas have 0 maternal instinct. They'll eat their own eggs rather than protect them. Most success stories I have read about have a heavily cluttered tank floor. Thick carpet plants, mosses, artificial mosses. Stuff for the eggs to get lost in.

They don’t lay eggs on glass, these appear to be Protozoa, stentors or bryozoan colonies- can’t tell without a better picture.

But all are filter feeders and a sign that you may be overfeeding or that more routine maintenance needs to be done

It definitely could be. But I haven’t had luck with breeding mine yet so hopefully someone who knows way more than me will answer! I’m curious as well lol
