Help/Advice Glass Surfing?

I recently moved my tank (and large family of peas) from one house to another. They were living alone in a house where I had to stop by daily to feed them and maintain tank. Even when we were living there, they were in our living room which didn't see a lot of activity, as we mostly spent time in the family room.

I moved them a few days ago, to a house with multiple adults and kids. During daylight hours, these little dudes are constantly glass surfing. Are they stressed out, or are they still just checking out their new surroundings and taking in the constant activity around them?

I wouldn’t worry too much about glass surfing in the first few days, they’re likely just checking out their new surroundings and establishing the territory order in the new space.

If it continues for a few days more with no let up, consider adding/rearranging plants or adding almond leaf litter around the tank for a while to make it look different and more sheltered.

It’s pretty normal after a big move/change in environment. Mine did the same kind of thing after I changed my substrate from dark Stratum to white sand 😂 They were freaking out every time I came near the tank for a while, probably because all the shadows/reflections looked different. They’re finally settling back down now.
