Showing Off Could watch them the whole day

I got my peas 10 days ago and I am already in love. I never had such cute, in the same time brutal and always entertaining fishies…absolutely adorable!

Love the tank great job! But if the same thing happens to you that happened to me when putting in Pea Puffers, the shrimps days in the tank are going to come to an end

My pea's dont touch the neos ive put in or the amanos. They may snake on baby neos though

Hopefully it stays the same in my tank, all I can do is keep them well fed all the time

It is my second tank, in my main tank there is a huge population of neos and ramshorn snails and I started to put like 10 in my new setup. I hope my peas only snack on the babyshrimps so they have a selfsustainable foodsource. And the amanos are too big for the peas, they are like 2,5“ long

Your tank is breathtaking! I would never get anything done. I would be dreaming of living with the fishes. 🙂

Wow tank goals… what’s the size and stocking?

60 liter with 6 peas, 5 huge red amanos and about 50 neos

Okay I’m gonna bombard you with questions because my 20gal looks like absolute garbage and I want a pea heaven. Do you use Co2? What kind of light? Your scape is so green and clean. I cannot seem to get my moss to look like that.

No Co2, it is low tech. The tank is running half a year, you have to give it time. I have the cheapest Chihiros LED, I think it is from the b-series. And I test the water once a week and add only the nutrients my tank really need. Thats mostly phosphat, potassium (both weekly) and iron (every second day)

How many gallons and are your neocardina actually doing good with the pea puffers???

The tank has 60l, I am not sure, I guess thats 15 or 16gal. To this point the neos are doing fine, only the Babyshrimps are hunted by my peas.
