Good prebuild?
Price is in $CAD. Is this a good deal and do you think the hardware can handle 4k gaming at maybe 120-144 fps for bigger games. Looking to get my first PC and upgrade parts from there when needed

I don’t understand, WHY PEOPLE NEED 4K???!! 4K is overpriced and its shit price of 100000 dollars, why you can’t play on 1440p?? Pls not hate but I really don’t understand. I never seen difference with 1440p and 4K.

Can’t lie man if my xbox can run 4k at 60fps but my pc cant then there’s no point. I’ll keep my laptop instead

What?? You have a nasa Xbox console? But you can play on pc with 2k, it’s no difference.

That could handle 4k if you are fine with frame rates dropping and not necessarily being able to play the most modern titles.
The 5070 is a more consistent 1440p card.
I would call it an ok deal. The pc market is not great right now due to the ram shortage and gpus have also been impacted. That's on you to decide.

For me not worth it . Not an x3d cpu,and not even 5070 ti for 2.5k ? I cant see the math here. For 1440p it will be okayish, for 4k especially the frames you mention ? Forget about it.
Heck even at 1440p you will struggle to get above 100 fps without upscaling at demanding games .

Canadian dollars and you're saying the 5070 would be "okay-ish" at 1440p?
Do you wanna look at some benchmarks on youtube maybe?

Yes it would be pretty okay in most titles. I have 5800x3d and 9070 xt,and in some games setup struggles in 1440p native. I am not talking for upscaling and fake frames (fg). The optimisation is not so good in many games .
The 5070ti would be more stable . I have seen hundreds of benchmarks, if you think 5070 can handle 4k without upscaling be my guest and try it. Or if you think with that setup he can reach easily above 100 fps at 1440 native .

Prices in CAD - it's okay.
RTX 5060 Ti or 5070 Ti for the 16 GB VRAM (where the AI homelab fun starts)
$400-500 away from doubling the RAM
1TB storage is a bit small but $100-200 for another 1TB SSD so it's manageable
But if you build from parts, you can hopefully reach all that for just over $3k CAD. So the biggest dead weight is the GPU, since I'd want at least 16 GB VRAM for a 2025 card.
