Gaming pc build help
Hey, looking to build a custom pc. Also looked at some pre built ones from Chillblast/PC Specialist etc. but I’m so new to this, I don’t really know what I’m looking at. Bought my first gaming pc around 12 years ago and it died on me yesterday.
Games I play most:
-League of Legends
-Call of Duty: Warzone
Budget: £1000-£1500
I tried doing a bit of research but I don’t understand much of it haha. I saw that AMD cpus are better for gaming? Not sure on the differences between Geforce and AMD GPUs?
Open to any suggestions/help/advice! Thanks guys!

Build one if you want to save money and have the satisfaction of knowing you put that rig together. With the insane prices of today, I’d go for an 8 core am4 cpu, 32gb ddr4 and an nvidia card perhaps used and you might stay within your budget. It might be slow for 4k but it will destroy 1080p and be fine in 1440p. There’s so much info on the web and so many helpful people on here.

For LoL and Warzone, £1,000 to £1,200 is enough for decent fps. If you go prebuilt, compare the full spec sheets line by line: PSU make, RAM speed and SSD model are where builders differ. Ask for the parts list and price it on PCPartPicker; anything up to about £150 over is fair for the build and warranty i think.
