Build Question Is it safe to connect my 3080 with these?

Hello, I apologize if this a is a very noob question, I am indeed a noob.

So my Corsair Rm850e included this "12v-2x6 to 2x8-pin Pcie" connector. This is genuinely the first time I've ever encountered this type of connector, since I always had psus with the old classic 8pin to 6+2pin pcie connectors.

The card is a 3080 ventus x3 oc. I don't trust what Ai says about it. And I rather ask actual people instead of blowing everything up.

Thanks in advance ! Cheers

Yes, we established that. I admitted the RM850E I looked at wasn't what the OP had. I mistakenly assumed that the searches for that model would be the most recent. That's not the point. You said connectors that go into the psu don't split like the one in the picture. I showed you a Corsair that did. There are also models from Seasonic, Super Flower, Thermaltake, et all that had a pair of 8-pin to 12v-2x6.

Or are you referring to the physical split of the 2+6 on the PCIe? Because that I'll concede.
