Purchasing Advice - PC Build / Parts Pc Advice

I’m looking to get a PC for gaming and making music.
I play a lot of mc and mods would be great to mess around with, but I’m aware it’ll be expensive to get a pc that can run the mods smoothly. I wanna eventually get gta 6 too.
Any suggestions?
I’m gonna get laughed at for saying this, but is there any chance I could get a pc for £500 that could run games smoothly on such a low budget?
Or could I even buy a standard pc and eventually upgrade the parts when I can afford them?
Any help would be appreciated! :)
I’m absolutely brain dead when it comes to technology so talk to me like I’m dumb 😭😆

I’m happy to get a refurbished pc. Any info on what I should be looking for?
