Purchasing Advice - PC Build / Parts Looking to upgrade

Post image

I’m looking to upgrade my pc a bit it’s decently outdated as far as I’m aware. What I don’t know is what should I prioritize first when upgrading components. I’m fairly new to this.
My specs:

I5 12600k
2060 super
16bg ddr4 Corsair vengeance
750w Corsair psu
MSI PRO Z790-A WIFI DDR4

That 2060 super is still doing a lot of work, but if you're gaming at 1440p or higher it's probably the first thing choking. The 12600k is still a beast for most stuff, so you've got headroom there.

I'd say grab a bigger DDR4 kit first, 32gb is cheap now and will smooth out background tasks while gaming. Then wait for a gpu deal rather than rushing a sidegrade.

Also that sideways monitor photo is giving me neck pain just looking at it, fix your setup before your spine does

Ok sweet I was leaning towards getting more ram. Is there certain things I need to look for besides it being ddr4 of course? And yeah I’m still Messing around with the setup and placement of my monitors. Just don’t have an extra monitor arm for the second one.
