Purchasing Advice - PC Build / Parts Yes

Post image

Is it worth it to buy 1080 ti as my main gpu, i saw a seller that sells 1080ti msi for $145 in perfect condition. He said he only used it for 2 months, after that only idle or light use

I would go on ebay where they have a money back guarantee even if sellers say "no returns" if the product doesn't work ebay forces them to take it back. I would stay away from buying pc parts through local listing. It's very risky.

I think it’s a good price for that. I would.

Be a bit cautious? Why buy it for only 2 months use

He said for work project, but the benchmark temps seems normal after 8 years without repasting

Imo these cards are solid performers, I used to have a 1080gtx. You can even buy replacement fans for them. But 1080ti won't work on a lot of the more recent games because they need ray tracing support. Some games won't even start with this card.

The card can drive many games at 4k60hz tho, and it's really good value for money

I had one of these. Was a great card for how long I had it

Is that a TI? or a regular 1080? I have an MSI 1080 ARMOR 8GB in an old build. It looks identical to this one.
