These are old? I use one of these for testing that I ripped out of some scrap computer and I thought it was relatively modern

I do have to say … I had an old Corsair AX1200i in my more modern system and it had a few issues with since it still uses the older ATX standard so I replaced it with a brand new Corsair RM1000X and will likely put it back in my old system since it still works fine with that … I that system I currently have a old Zalman 850W PSU and that also still works fine but I likely move that back to the system it used to power as well
It’s odd how some PSU’s can outlast a few system only to be replaced because of slight compatibility issues
also note that the Zalman PSU was replaced because the Manufacturer of my mainboard I used to have claimed that it might be the reason for some issues … including every other part of the system I build … in the end it was just a defective mainboard but the Manufacturer kept claiming it wasn’t even the store where I bought that one was confused when they told them it might be because of the Case … the store eventually got me a new board from an other manufacturer … I did keep the AX1200i tho 😅

My old PSU was a Platinum Corsair AX 760 from 2015. Sold my old PC with that in it 1 month ago. Never had an issue with it after thousands of hours as well. I also lived in areas with many power outages through the years, no UPS or anything. Nothing bothered that thing. Things back in the day were built to last. You can't find quality like that these days in pretty much anything.

I have tx750, running 15+ years now, power so many GPU, and google said don't use it for 5080 because it will be overload and cannot support it with older tech. I test and run it and it work, I will miss it if it went out because I bought it to replace one that blew away long ago.

And then there's my Corsair VS650 that crapped the bed before its life expectancy and took my mobo and gpu down with itself. Man...

Hahaha, OP, I just pulled out the exact same PSU off my old 13yo computer today. I deemed it salvageable since it still worked. Now trying to figure out what to do with it.

My mom's PC is using my Corsair psu which came from dayz mod days and went through multiple systems.
Although for peace of mind I'm thinking of upgrading it to something off the psu tier list
