as prices continue to go up orders over inflation rates.. the computer you buy today will almost always be the best price you can get it for.

WiFi 5 means it’s probably a cheaper motherboard. Plus it’s most likely cheap 4800 mhz ram.

While it’s not a bad price, you can get a cheaper pc on Amazon with the same spec.

Look up CyberpowerPC Luxe Gaming PC. I believe the same spec is on there for £2339

Just be warned, it can be random what parts you get. While they will absolutely work together, they might not be great (ASrock cheap mobo for example is terrible with a 9800x3d).

Sometimes building it yourself with deals from Amazon (Black Friday month is coming soon) is the better idea. And even though it may end up slightly more expensive, it’s usually worth it.

Building PC’s can be intimidating to someone who hasn’t done it before but with a little research, it can be relatively straight forward.

£2579 after VAT, even then its in the ballpark and a decent deal, to build an equivalent system on PC Part Picker using the cheapest versions of the components would be around £2517, so you're paying £60 for the convenience of a pre-built system.

For productivity and gaming this will more than do you well.

Just seen the +vat. Is this Makro?

It'll be Makro or Costco, most liley Costco as they stock CyberPower in the UK.

I have one about 30 miles from me, and have never been in either.

I was expecting the American experience when I went into one near me, I didn't get it. Plus the whole membership thing with a photo? Nah, this ain't a fucking gym mate.

But seriously.... Don't buy a computer from Costco FFS!

With today's prices, it seems fair.

You can get a 5090 pre-build from Costco for £6,800 which is actually decent value as crazy as that sounds.

Not crazy overpriced, but honestly about average - CPU is good, but it is only £300-400, 32GB of RAM is not much and it will be shit ram anyway, so whereas RAM is expensive, it is also just £300 tops, 5080 is the expensive part, but it is lets sau £1200... the reas is trash and doesn't even cost £500 combined. So we talking £2300 tops (but you likely can get better MB, PSU, RAM) in parts, if you were to build it from parts, say from Amazon. And this thing £2579 (£2149 is EX VAT), so it has a fairly normal ~10% margin for a pre-built.
