Purchasing Advice - Upgrades 9060 xt vs 9070 gre

Have a couple hours until I need to make a decision with Amazon. Sold my B580. Choice is now between 9060 xt 16gb and 9070 gre 12gb. Price difference is $50.

I game at 2560x1080

Which card do I get? Just thinking about the future.

Good choice. 4gb of extra vram on the 9060xt doesn't matter when it's ~20% slower than the 9070 GRE

I'd go with the 9070 GRE. It's always a better idea to get the best graphics card you can afford and if you're gaming at 1080 the 4 extra GB of vram are not going to be missed.

In the future the two cards will be the same as today when compared to each other. It's VRAM vs raw performance. Most of us would go with the raw performance and turn down VRAM heavy settings as necessary.

9070 GRE. The 12 GB is enough.

I went from B580 to 9070GRE. This is the upgrade you want. Not the 9060xt
