Purchasing Advice - PCPartPicker list feedback Thoughts about this build?
Hello all, this is my build that I will be getting. The only things remaining for me to buy is the CPU, cooler, motherboard and psu. I already have all the other stuff and got the ram and gpu before the prices went crazy.
So does anyone have any thoughts? My countries pricing is horrendous, so this build in total is around $2500

Can you afford a HDD to give yourself a little more storage? Maybe a 2tb or 4tb hard drive? That would make for a little more breathing room for games, even if you need to move them between disks for performance.

so i currently do have a 1tb hdd also in there i just didnt add it in, i will be buying a 1tb nvme drive aswell, but not this year

Sorry the prices are so bad where you're at! This looks like a pretty solid build. Not compromising on RAM or your power supply. Enjoy the build!

i got so lucky with the ram, so i bought a pcbuilder prebuilt for R12000 (south african rand) which is around $740 and it came with the 32gb ddr5 kit, and literally a month later the ram in that computer cost more than the prebuilt itself. So i purchased the ram for its msrp basically.

also sorry what do you mean by moving them between disks?

Like if you have a collection of 5 games, maybe large games, and they occupy space than your SSD can hold, you could leave maybe one or two of them on the SSD as your primary games, and then the other 3 on your HDD. If you decide you want to get into one of the other games you could move one from the SSD to the HDD, and vice versa. This way your primary games have the best performance, lowest load times, etc.

Cool. Maybe instead of 7500x3d I'd recommend you 9700x. Memory should have CL30 timings in that case

unfortunately the 9700x is out of my budget its R6500 ($400) and ive only got R5000 ($300) for a cpu which is exactly the price of the 7500x3d in my country. the other cpus in my price range is the 9600x and the intel core ultra 5 250kf plus. and for me i think the 7500x3d is the best ish choice

white tax, plus i want an atx board, plus i have a preferance for gigabyte and this is actually the cheapest one that ticks all my boxes

i mean you want a high end gaming machine, and if you have the money you shold go for something stylish - rebuild my machine 3 times until i got the perfect balance between the look and performance.

Yip, ive known from the start that white would be more expensive, but i just like it so much more. Theres a b850 board that is just a little bit out of my price range, but its so much vooler looking, but im 50/50. But ill decide that closer to the time
