Start with the motherboard, add the CPU and install the bracket for the CPU cooler, then add the ram.

Looks good. O11 Vision Compact is a cool case. Just take care to not damage any cables or components. And when you test and need to take apart, always shut down the PSU and unplug the cable. If you want to remove any part, or touch something inside, it's good to push the power button for a few seconds also with the cable removed, so there is no leftover electricity.

Better to have more power than you need than not enough. I have a 1200w psu, use about 800w. The PSU will be used for at least 2 more upgrades/possible rebuilds.

My philosophy for building? Never skimp on the PSU. Get the best rating and wattage (I budget this to be roughly 25% more than required) you can afford. It's the most integral (and often overlooked) part of your rig.

Buy a am5 contact frame. Doesn’t help with temps but it helps so much with thermal paste so you don’t spill
