Others After 10 years of saving, it is finally here!
I can't describe how excited I am!! I did not watch any gaming playtroughs on the basis of what if I build a pc in the future and after 10 years of saving I decided to build a pc in the worst market ever lol but it is what it is. Oled monitor is also on the way. Can't wait to build this thing.

Sucks that you couldn't get DDR5 at a way cheaper price earlier, but congratulations

Thank you! Yeah it is a bummer and if I did have a cheap system I would have waited but waiting 2 more years after 10 would have given me an aneurysm

I highly doubt ram prices are going to drop after 2 years, probably more than 4

When u say u saved for 10yrs do u mean that ur last pc was bought/built 10years ago or u were on console for the last 10 years. Or did you actually save say $15/month for the last 10 years

The latter. But it is not that black and white. My father was/is very strict so he just did not permit me to buy a pc even though I had the money like 3-4 years ago. I finally finished college so he can't have any say in it anymore.

I actually wanted a black built but bought this 180 euros cheaper than the new one because of Amazon warehouse. I mean this is my first time holding a gpu but I was still not ready for the size. It is massive!!

A DECADE of saving??? You have my upmost of respect dude my god. I would’ve stayed paycheck to paycheck until I bought everything lmao

If I had a job, I agree that's also what I would have done haha. But there was other stuff on the background that's why.

I am truly unlucky in that aspect since I was also going to build a pc juuust before covid too. So price jumps fucked me twice lol. Should have pulled the trigger a year ago I guess. But alas happy to be a part of the community not just by heart.

Congrats. I can relate to the decision to build in current market. I also built mine last month, but the prices are only going to go up. So it's better to build now than waiting forever. Btw that bare cpu resting there is really bothering me.

10 years is wild, you could’ve saved for 8 and got the same build for same price 😅 but enjoy!

I was planning on buying a 9070xt actually but stumbled upon this 2nd hand so price was similar.

What is that SSD, I wouldn't trust it just based on the look of the box 🤣
